Projects Development.

DOCUMENTARY FEATURE FILM
LA MULTITUD (THE CROWD)
Director
Martin Oesterheld
La Multitud keeps a record of the surroundings of two urban projects developed in the city of Buenos Aires, which were abandoned in the early 80s: in the La Boca Sport City piece of land and in the Lugano I & II housing project.
These ambitious urbanizations were built and encouraged along the last years of the military dictatorship so as to generate different symbols in the city that carried a message of progress and future.
After over a decade of neo-liberal policies in the 90s and in a world context biased by globalization and economic restructuring processes, Buenos Aires could be considered a witness city as for its environmental and socio-spatial transformations which most big cities in Latin America have gone through.
